Industrial Connectivity Software

Automate and digitise your data for a continuous overview of production processes with OPC Router Software. Data exchange is achieved through the integration of systems such as OPC UA, SAP, SQL, MQTT, REST, SOAP, Excel, labellers and more.

Why Choose OPC Router?

OPC Router opens endless possibilities for Australian companies looking to streamline their operations, improve efficiency, and prepare for future advancements. Whether you’re automating a factory, optimising data-driven decision-making, or connecting legacy systems with modern protocols, this software can transform your processes from start to finish.

Acting as a central data hub, OPC Router enables both vertical and horizontal integration across your operation. It connects everything from sensors and PLCs to ERP systems and cloud platforms, while also linking devices such as printers and scales with MES, SCADA, and LIMS environments. This broad compatibility allows for end-to-end digitalization without the need for custom development.

As a full OPC client, OPC Router supports both OPC DA and OPC UA standards, enabling secure and efficient communication with a wide variety of industrial hardware and control systems. It collects real-time data from field-level devices and transmits it reliably to higher-level platforms including SQL databases and cloud services like AWS and Azure.

Frequently Asked Questions About OPC Router

Q: What industries can benefit from OPC Router in Australia?
A: OPC Router is ideal for manufacturing, food and beverage, energy, logistics, mining, utilities and more. Its connectivity and automation capabilities make it adaptable to most sectors.

Q: Do you provide support for Australian businesses using OPC Router?
A: Yes, we offer support around implementation and technical support to our clients, ensuring they get the most out of OPC Router. We can also connect you to OPC Router specific training, workshops and courses. We offer pre and post sales support, to help you navigate the numerous plug-in and add-on options, to ensure you only pay for what you need.

Q: What is the difference between Kepware and OPC Router? And do I need both?
A: Kepware and OPC Router serve different but complementary roles in industrial data communication. Kepware is primarily an OPC server that connects to PLCs and automation devices, making their data available via OPC standards. OPC Router can act as an OPC Client to connect to OPC servers (like Kepware) and route that data to other systems such as databases, ERPs, cloud services, and more.

You don’t always need both, but in many cases, they work in harmony to expand access to your data across more systems and devices. Kepware collects the data, and OPC Router distributes it across your enterprise systems. OPC Router can also be used as a stand-alone product and does not rely on an OPC Server to function.
